The Williams County Humane Society has a mandatory spaying and neutering policy for all animals that are adopted from our facility. If an animal is adopted from our facility without being spayed or neutered first, based on age, the new owners agree to have the animal altered upon adoption. The new owner is required to transport the animal to and from the veterinary clinic to be altered. If the new owner does not spay/neuter the animal, ownership will be forfeited back to The Williams County Humane Society and will not receive any monies paid at the time of adoption.
