About the Dog Warden
The Williams County Dog Warden is dedicated to promoting responsible dog ownership while helping keep both residents and animals safe throughout the county. Our office provides a variety of services to protect public safety, reunite lost pets with their owners, and ensure compliance with Ohio law.
Our services include:
- Enforcing Section 955 of the Ohio Revised Code
- Collecting stray dogs and dogs running at large
- Investigating complaints involving dogs
- Providing year-round dog and kennel license sales
- Assisting the Williams County Health Department with dog bite investigations
